Welcome to Talentopian's Privacy Policy. At Talentopian, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your data as you explore and develop your talents on our platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect various types of information to provide you with the best possible experience:

• Personal information (e.g., name, email address, age group)
• Usage data (e.g., interactions with our platform, content preferences)
• Talent assessment results and progress data
• Device and browser information

Note: We use advanced encryption methods to protect your sensitive information, including your talent assessment results.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information helps us:

• Personalize your talent discovery journey
• Improve our AI-driven talent assessment algorithms
• Connect you with relevant learning resources and opportunities
• Ensure the security and integrity of our platform
• Communicate important updates and tailored content

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Trusted partners who assist in operating our platform
• Educational institutions or potential employers (only with your explicit consent)
• Law enforcement agencies when required by law

5. Chrome Extensions (Explorer & Counselor)

This section describes how the Talentopian browser extensions — Talentopian Explorer (for job seekers) and Talentopian Counselor (for career counselors) — handle data when used inside Google Meet or Zoom.

a. What we process. The extensions read the text captions that Google Meet or Zoom already display on the user's own screen. We do not record, upload, or store the raw audio of any meeting. We process only the caption text, which the user chose to enable in their meeting client.

b. What we do with it. Caption text is sent to our secure backend solely to (i) generate coaching suggestions during the session, (ii) produce an end-of-session analysis report (interview debrief or SOAP note), and (iii) save that report to the signed-in user's Talentopian account for their own later review. The text is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties; it is not used to train generic foundation models. Processed transcripts are retained for up to 90 days and are deleted when the user deletes the associated session or their account.

c. Consent responsibilities. The extensions are passive tools that operate on the user's own screen. If you are a counselor using Talentopian Counselor during a session with a client, you are responsible for informing the client — in accordance with your jurisdiction's recording and AI-assistance laws — that an AI tool is summarizing the conversation, and for obtaining any consent your profession or region requires. Talentopian provides the tool; the legal and ethical duty to disclose rests with the counselor.

d. What we never do. We never capture passwords, payment information, or content from tabs or applications outside the active video-call page. We never stream or store raw audio or video. Compliance warnings generated by Talentopian Counselor are advisory only, are never used as evidence of misconduct, and are visible only to the counselor who generated them.

6. Third-Party Integrations (TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)

Talentopian lets each user optionally connect their own social-media accounts so they can publish career-growth content they created on Talentopian (for example, short videos that explain their target role or learning roadmap) directly to those accounts. These integrations are strictly user-initiated and per-account.

a. TikTok integration. When you connect your TikTok account through Talentopian, we access only the data necessary to publish videos to your TikTok account at your request, in accordance with TikTok's Developer Policy. Specifically, we use the user.info.basic scope to read your TikTok display name and avatar so we can confirm which account is connected, and the video.upload scope to upload the video file you select to your TikTok inbox / drafts for your own review. We never auto-post on your behalf, we never read your private inbox or other users' content, and we never share your TikTok data with third parties. You can disconnect your TikTok account from Talentopian at any time, which immediately revokes our refresh token; you can also revoke access directly from inside the TikTok app under Settings → Privacy → Third-party apps.

b. LinkedIn and YouTube integrations. The same principles apply to our LinkedIn (OAuth + UGC posts) and YouTube Shorts (OAuth + Data API v3) integrations: we ask only for the OAuth scopes needed to publish the content you explicitly choose to share, and we store no content from your account beyond what is required to schedule and confirm that one publish action.

c. What we store. For each connected social account we store an encrypted access token, a refresh token, the platform's account ID, your display name, and a log of publish actions you initiated (timestamp, platform, post ID). We do not store your social-media password — OAuth never exposes it to us.

d. Data deletion. Disconnecting an integration deletes the tokens and account ID from our database. Deleting your Talentopian account deletes all connected-account records.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access and update your personal information
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt-out of certain data collection practices
• Control your communication preferences

8. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

Talentopian(이하 "회사")은 「개인정보 보호법」에 따라 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련 권익을 보장하기 위해 다음과 같이 개인정보처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.

제1조 (처리하는 개인정보 항목)

1. 필수 수집 항목 (서비스 이용 필수):

• 이메일 주소, 비밀번호(암호화 저장), 이름 또는 닉네임, 연령대
• 서비스 이용 기록(플랫폼 상호작용, 게임 진행)
• 역량 평가(게임) 결과 및 산출 점수(PCS)
• 기기·브라우저 정보(로그인 보안 목적)

2. 선택 수집 항목 (미동의 시에도 서비스 이용 가능):

• 마케팅·이벤트 정보 수신 동의
• 맞춤형 광고를 위한 프로파일링 동의
• LinkedIn 등 외부 서비스 연동 동의

3. 결제 시 추가 수집: Stripe(결제 대행사)를 통해 결제 수단 정보가 수집·처리되며, 회사는 결제 카드번호 원본을 저장하지 않습니다.

제2조 (개인정보의 처리 목적)

회사는 다음 목적으로만 개인정보를 처리하며, 목적 외 이용 시 별도 동의를 받습니다:

1. 맞춤형 커리어 탐색 및 AI 기반 역량 평가 서비스 제공
2. AI 알고리즘 개선(개인 식별 불가능한 통계적 형태)
3. 관련 학습 자원(교육 코스) 및 채용 기회 매칭
4. 서비스 이용에 관한 안내, 고객 문의 응대
5. 서비스 보안 유지, 부정 이용 방지, 법령 준수
6. 마케팅·이벤트 정보 전달(선택 동의 시에만)

제3조 (개인정보의 보유 및 이용 기간)

원칙: 회원 탈퇴 요청 시 지체 없이 파기합니다.

예외: 다음 법령에 따라 일정 기간 보관합니다.

• 계약 또는 청약철회 등에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법 제6조)
• 대금결제 및 재화 공급에 관한 기록: 5년 (전자상거래법 제6조)
• 소비자의 불만 또는 분쟁처리에 관한 기록: 3년 (전자상거래법 제6조)
• 표시·광고에 관한 기록: 6개월 (전자상거래법 제6조)
• 웹사이트 방문기록(로그): 3개월 (통신비밀보호법 제15조의2)

파기 방법: 전자적 파일은 복구 불가능한 방법으로 영구 삭제하며, 종이 문서는 파쇄 또는 소각합니다.

제4조 (개인정보의 제3자 제공)

회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다. 다음의 경우에 한하여 제공합니다:

• 이용자의 사전 명시적 동의가 있는 경우 (예: 교육기관·채용 기업과의 매칭)
• 법령에 근거한 수사기관·감독기관의 정당한 요청이 있는 경우

제5조 (개인정보 처리의 위탁 및 국외 이전)

2. 이전 방법: 위 서비스의 정규 API 호출을 통해 필요 최소한의 정보가 암호화되어 전송됩니다.

3. 이용자의 동의: 이용자는 위 국외 이전 사항에 동의하지 않을 권리가 있으며, 미동의 시 서비스 제공이 제한될 수 있습니다.

제6조 (정보주체의 권리 및 행사 방법)

이용자는 언제든지 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다:

• 개인정보 열람·정정·삭제·처리정지 요구 (대시보드 또는 문의처)
• 동의 철회 및 마케팅 수신 거부
• 자동화된 결정에 대한 이의제기 (자세한 사항은 제10조 참조)
• 개인정보 이동권 (기계 판독 가능한 형태로 본인의 데이터 수령)

권리 행사 요청 시 회사는 10일 이내 조치 결과를 통보합니다.

제7조 (개인정보의 안전성 확보 조치)

• 암호화: TLS 1.3(전송), AES-256(저장), 비밀번호 bcrypt 해싱
• 접근통제: 최소권한 원칙, 관리자 로그 3년 보관
• 접속기록 관리: 통신비밀보호법에 따라 3개월 보관
• 정기 감사: 분기 1회 이상 보안 취약점 점검

제8조 (개인정보 보호책임자 및 국내대리인)

이용자는 개인정보 처리에 관한 모든 문의, 불만처리, 피해구제 등을 개인정보 보호책임자에게 문의할 수 있으며, 회사는 이용자의 문의에 대해 지체 없이 답변 및 처리해드릴 것입니다.

제9조 (만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보 처리)

회사는 원칙적으로 만 14세 미만 아동으로부터 법정대리인의 동의 없이 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

만 14세 미만 이용자의 서비스 이용은 다음 경로를 통해서만 가능합니다:

• 학교·교육기관 계약을 통한 Parent Portal 접근 (법정대리인 서면 동의 필요)
• 부모/보호자가 직접 관리하는 계정 하에서의 이용

만 14세 미만 아동에 대해서는 맞춤형 광고 프로파일링을 수행하지 않습니다.

제10조 (자동화된 결정에 대한 이용자의 권리)

Talentopian의 커리어 추천, PCS 점수 산정, 매칭 결과 등은 AI 알고리즘에 의한 자동화된 결정에 해당합니다. 이용자는 「개인정보 보호법」 개정(2024)에 따라 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다:

1. 자동화된 결정 결과에 대한 설명 요청: 알고리즘의 개요, 사용된 주요 요소, 결정 근거
2. 자동화된 결정 결과에 대한 이의 제기 및 재검토 요청
3. 인적 검토를 통한 대안적 판단 요청 (커리어 카운슬러 상담 옵션)

제11조 (개인정보 이용·제공 내역 통지)

「개인정보 보호법」 개정(2024)에 따라 회사는 이용자에게 연 1회 이상 지난 1년간 처리한 개인정보 이용 및 제공 내역을 이메일로 통지합니다. 통지 원하지 않는 이용자는 대시보드 설정에서 옵트아웃할 수 있습니다.

제12조 (쿠키의 사용 및 거부)

회사는 서비스 개선을 위해 쿠키를 사용하며, 이용자는 브라우저 설정 또는 하단의 쿠키 설정 메뉴를 통해 언제든 쿠키 수집을 거부하거나 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. (GDPR/PIPA 준수 쿠키 배너 제공)

제13조 (개인정보 처리방침의 변경)

본 방침이 변경되는 경우 시행 7일 전(중요 변경 시 30일 전)에 웹사이트 공지 및 이메일로 사전 안내합니다.
